Working at home can sound too good to be true…
If you read things like “get rich quick” or “earn $500 per day with this easy online job,” then it is probably a scam.
These are the top 2 ways to spot a scam:
#1 Unreal Numbers in a short amount of time.
If a website or company is offering you the opportunity to make an unreal amount of money as soon as you start working, then it’s probably a scam. You can make great money from online jobs, but just like any other job it takes time and hardwork to build your business.
#2 Requests for Payment to Earn Money
If a company is asking you to pay them money to get started working for them, then it is a scam. No legitimate company will ask you to pay money so that you can start working for them.
Start your search for a work at home job by assessing the following . . .
What skills do you already have from previous work?
Are you computer savvy, graphic designer, good at networking, strong presence on social media?
What hobbies do you have that could translate to a job?
Could you teach people how to do something?
How much time do I have to dedicate towards a work at home job?
How important is flexibility to me?
Will I be working while the kids are around me? (Non-Phone Jobs would be important)
How many hours per week can I work?
Do I have time to learn a new skill?
Should I work full time, part time, or as a side hustle?
How much money do I need to make?
If this is a new career, can I work and get paid at the beginner level?
What kind of resources do I need to consider to start a work from home job?
Should I take a course?
These questions will help you to sort out the direction you want to go in your work from home journey. You will find that once you start a work from home job other opportunities will begin to open up for you. It might be best to consider a side hustle if you are just starting out before you take on a full time work from home job.

Ibotta is a cell phone app that is easy to use everywhere you go to buy groceries! You can easily earn cash back rebates and transfer the money into your Paypal account. This is seriously one of my favorite ways to save money at the grocery store!
I love this app because it is so easy to use and now it’s just part of my routine when I grocery shop. You can use this at your grocery store and even Target and Walmart! You simply find the items you want to buy in your app and then scan your purchases and receipt when you get home and put everything away.
The best part is you get to earn cash back on items that usually don’t ever have coupons like fruits, vegetables, milk, and eggs! Also, they have many items each month that are NOT BRAND SPECIFIC. So you can choose any brand in that category and still save!
If you do this all year you will have a nice chunk of change saved up from doing what you already do! Join Ibotta and earn a $10 cash bonus!
