I don’t know about you…

but when I’m buying something, whether it’s groceries, a new couch or a haircut, I hate thinking I could be saving just a few more dollars!

While I’m too busy to make time to cut every coupon out, I still always try to shop sales and deals that are pretty quick and easy to use. One of my favorite ways to save money is by using Groupons.

I use Groupons for haircuts and highlights, date nights, kids activities, and even food (like when they have $5 for a $10 Starbucks Giftcard!)! If you don’t take advantage of Groupons you are missing out on a way to create a frugal date night or adventure for your kids.

Groupon has expanded their deals and offers to include Groupon Coupons! Today I’m going to give you a full overview of how Groupon Coupons work and how to use them to your advantage.

Groupon Coupons Review

Groupon Coupons is a FREE database of thousands of coupons and sales/deals that are currently happening at over 8,000 retailers. Groupon Coupons also has exclusive coupons for select retailers. When you go to the Groupon Coupon page you will find exclusive coupons on the slider at the top of the page.

Many of the coupons that are listed on the Groupon Coupons page are promo codes that can be used for online shopping or describing a sale that is happening at a store.

How it works?

I use the Groupon Coupon database when I am looking for something specific to buy. It can be difficult to find coupons for a specific item, but I can quickly find the stores that I want to shop around for the best price.

So for example, if I am looking to buy a “bookcase” for my boys’ bedroom. I would look through the Groupon Coupon database to see which stores have furniture on sale. I would search Amazon, Target, Walmart, and JCPenney. This saves me time and money because I can quickly see all the deals in one place.

It’s always a good idea to follow companies on their social media platforms to find the best deals. Sometimes you will find special deals specifically for their social media accounts. You can follow Groupon on Facebook here and Groupon on Twitter here.

Final Thoughts

I don’t know about you, but online shopping is my JAM! I love anything that can seriously save me time and money, especially with 3 little boys. Ebates has so many stores available that you can shop and earn cash back! The cashback button makes it really easy to be sure that you are getting all the deals possible every time you shop online. #3 Link your card for in-store cash back deals

Ebates has an option for a handful of stores that you can actually shop in the store to receive cash back. You have to link your credit card to each store separately through the Ebates app. When you are shopping the transaction must be used as credit in order to earn your cash back.

Groupon is one of my favorite ways to get massages, tickets to activities around town like museums, putt-putt, trampoline parks, etc. By shopping through Ebates, you can save even more money on your Groupon deals.

You can check out the Double Cash back page on the Ebates site. Here they list all the stores that have an offer for double cash back. These deals can run a week or longer depending on the store. This is a great way to earn cash back on items that you don’t need immediately.

Digit is the painless way to save! I’ve been using Digit for about 2 months and already saved a nice little chunk of money. Not to mention it is super easy to use.

So, what is Digit?

The Digit Savings App is a totally FREE resource to help you automatically save money from your linked bank account.

Basically every few days Digit looks at your bank account, income, and spending to see how much you could save. Then Digit will take a few dollars every couple of days from your bank account and put it into your Digit Savings account. Over the course of a few months you will see a nice savings nest in your Digit Savings account!

You can easily withdraw your money from your Digit Savings account quickly and for FREE at any time!

How I use Digit!

Since my family is pretty good about saving money, and we stick close to our budget. I am using the Digit app to save money towards a trip to Disney in a couple of years! We want to wait until our boys are big enough to enjoy Disney, grabbing a random sweet tea from Chickfila.

How does the Digit Savings app work?

Sign up for the Digit Savings app here, and you will create an account. Your Digit account connects to your banking account and your money is saved into the Digit account. Your Digit Savings account is insured by the FDIC up to $250,000.

Digit is super easy to use. It saves money without you really even noticing a pinch in your budget. I think we would all like to squeeze a few more pennies out of our budget and stick into savings.

Honestly, if you suck at savings this is a great way to help you start saving passively. You honestly don’t notice that it is pulling money out. It’s usually about the same amount of money you spend grabbing fast food.
