I’m always on the look out for ways to make a little bit of cash to use for birthdays, holidays, and even saving for vacation. I just found a few new ways to earn cash with these minimal time investment ideas to make money in your spare time.
Let’s be clear…you’re not going to be able to make a living off of these extra money tips and tricks, but you can definitely cover your coffee budget for the month!

Swagbucks is a long time favorite way to earn extra money. You can make money by taking surveys, watching videos, referring friends, voting in daily polls, find swag codes, and more. My favorite way to earn with Swagbucks is by watching videos.

#2Â Jobspotter
Jobspotter is a fun little app created by Indeed.com. You can earn points for taking pictures of places that have “Now Hiring” signs posted. You can also earn points for verifying other Jobspotter’s work. Once you have money in your wallet you can cash out to an Amazon gift card.
I tried it out and was awarded $0.24 just for signing up and submitting my first photos. It takes 24 hours (or less) to have your images verified. Once verified I was awarded 47 points for my images. I clicked to get my money out of my “wallet” and it automatically sent my gift card for $1.00 in the form of an Amazon gift card.
#3Â Grab Points
Grab Points has a few different ways you can earn money.
- Sign-up for free offers that range from 500 – 2000 points
- Take surveys that range from 500 – 2500 points

- Watch videos 10 points each (approximately 2 minutes long)
- Refer your friends worth 500 – 1000 points

You can exchange your points for gift cards to places like Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, or Paypal. Cash out for an Amazon gift 3000 points for $3 and Paypal 5000 points for $5.
#4Â Slice the Pie
Slice the Pie is a way to earn extra cash by reviewing brands, music, videos, fashion, etc. You basically get paid to share your opinion. I did a 2 minute review and earned $0.11, so yeah…you’re not going to get rich doing this. But it’s definitely easy money that you could earn while you’re watching TV.
#5Â Task 360
Task 360 is a research task app. You help companies solve logistical problems:
- informing sat nav companies about new road directions
- checking if a public poster advertisement is viewable
It pays about $7-$13 for 15 minutes recon work. You need to check in early to get a task, your best bet is to access the app before 9 am.

Field Agent is an app that allows you to mystery shop from your smartphone. By completing short tasks…

You can earn up to $7 on the go in one task. The mystery shopper feature also allows you to experience and rate products to pubs for free! It can be competitive so make sure you check often for any “missions.”
#7Â Mintvine
Mintvine is one of my favorite survey sites! It’s such an easy way to earn cash just by taking a few surveys and answering their daily poll. You can cash out when you have 1000 points for $10 to your Paypal account or a gift card.
You can also earn points by referring friends. You earn 50 points when your friends finish their first survey AND you can earn 15% of what they make on all offers and surveys.
