Saving Money Tips

If you’re anything like me and living on a tight budget, then you probably KNOW that you don’t really have extra money to stash in your savings. You’ve already cut all the excess spending and there’s just not enough money.

So here are some saving money tips that you can use to earn extra cash so you CAN reach your money saving goal!

#1 Make money giving your opinions

Here are my favorite survey sites that pay real money!

This is one of the least time consuming ways to make money, and really you can take surveys while you watch TV, rock the baby to sleep, or workout on the elliptical (yep! I’ve done all of these!).

Here are more resources to help you find survey sites that pay!

#2 Share your user experience

Make money with User Testing by sharing your experience on websites and apps. You can earn $3 – $10 per test that lasts between 5 minutes – 20 minutes.

#3 Clean up Google’s mess

Earn between $10 – $15 per hour as a search engine evaluator. Basically you look for search results or ads that are out of place on search engines or social media platforms. The work is fairly easy and very flexible with no set hours.

I’ve done this job in the past and it has been one of my favorite ways to make money! I love the flexibility, and while the work is a bit monotonous it’s totally worth it! You can read my experience as a search engine evaluator here.

#4 Write to Make Extra Cash

I make about $300 per month as a freelance writer. I work with another company and help create content on their website. This is a really great side hustle because the work is project based so I only have to worry about a deadline rather than meeting a specific number of hours.

#5 Teach English to Chinese Students

I started teaching English with VIP Kid a few months ago. I teach classes 3 mornings a week before the kids wake up and 1 night on the weekend (for about 2 hours). I was able to earn $650 last month working for VIP Kid!

They provide all the teaching plans created for you. It’s such a great way to make extra cash!

#6 Start a Blog

Honestly I’m so glad I started a blog over 12 months ago with the hope of being able to bring in some extra cash so I could save money for trips, fun stuff, birthday parties…NOW it’s paying for our mortgage! (I’m all…Is this for real?!)

Um, yeah! You should totally give blogging a try if you’ve ever thought about it before!
